A premium positioned, multi-award-winning luminaire manufacturer like Occhio requires high sensitivity regarding the visual appearance. The challenge was to keep up with the extremely high standards of layouts of price lists, product books, print-, and online advertisements. On the occasion of the event communication of Partnertage 2017 where Occhio wanted to present the latest luminaire product Mito, I had the opportunity to create something special: Inspired by the design of Mito – a ring-shaped, elegant luminaire – I designed a key visual which was supposed to convey the feeling of a labyrinth. By opening the invitation, made of different premium papers and crafted with a heating foil, the recipients would then find a mysterious key. Using the key, the guests had the chance to participate in a light installation at the secret event, where the founder of Occhio Axel Meise gave a special presentation of Mito.
